The Copenhagen conference begins on Monday 7 December and is scheduled to finish on Friday 17 December.

Check the list of Greens events, especially:

Saturday 12 December, meet at 12.30 pm
Join Greens from around the world demonstrating at the Global Day of Action in Copenhagen

Sunday 13 December, 6--9 pm
Copenhagen and beyond: delivering a meaningful deal on climate change - the Global Green perspective. Hear Greens speakers from around the world.

The Global Greens, Climate Action Network and World Resources Institute, amongst other groups, have published policies that give a guide to the outcomes needed for Copenhagen to be a 'success'. Their positions are summarised on the attached pdf file.

VENUES

The main venue for COP15 is the Bella Center http://en.cop15.dk/. Don't forget to collect your free public transport travel pass after you have your UN admission badge.

Klimaforum09 is the 'people's climate summit' with a parallel program of events to attend. http://www.klimaforum09.org/

OBSERVER REGISTRATION

The UNFCCC has written to say they already have 14,000 registrations for a venue that can only hold 15,000. They will not accept late registrations.
